The hill of Sion, or Sion-Vaudémont hill, is located in the Saintois region, in the south of the Meurthe-et-Moselle department.
Peaking at an altitude of 540 meters, it is the highest point of the Moselle coast relief.
Because of its history, its pilgrimage and its topography, it is a major tourist site in Meurthe-et-Moselle.
The hill mainly extends over the territory of the commune of Saxon-Sion to Vaudémont, and overflows onto that of several neighboring communes.
